Pros

The work environment is very casual - wear whatever you want. The people are fun to work with and generally very helpful. The work environemnt is very colorful and open whcih helps with communictations although sometimes sales people on calls struggle to hear over the background noise. They have a variety fo company get-togethers for fun. The salary is good as are the benefits for a start-up. You get your birthday off as well as a day per quarter to do volunteer work at a place of your choice.

Cons

Restrictive attendance policies with a well-defined work day to be in the office and limited opportunity to work from home. For some reason they seem to like meetings and many are long. Things get re-hashed multiple times with a struggle to finalize decisions.

Pros

The people and the leadership is in my opinion really want makes the Resumator a great place. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and gets along very well. The CEO has managed to build a great culture in the Pittsburgh office, even after all the changes. The perk the company offers are great, as is the office space in the strip.

Cons

The hours are long, but honestly you get used to it. The snacks are far away, but thats about it.

Pros

I’ve never experienced anything quite like it. It’s one of the best classes you could take while getting paid with benefits. The Resumator looks great on a resume. I’m always approached by some big name companies because they see my current employer’s name and the things I do. But, I’m not going anywhere. This company is still rather new and I’ve seen a lot of changes in the last two years. I can’t wait to see where we are headed next. I know I would never want to own a business and deal with the craziness it brings. I feel proud to say I work for The Resumator and all it has to offer – good, bad, funny & nutty. This company isn’t perfect, but you really do see the leaders and teams try to always find ways to re-invent and make it awesome. I actually feel a sense of family and protectiveness for the company. They cast some kind of spell where you just want to be the best at what you do.

Cons

You better play hard, because you are going to work hard for sure. You don’t want to be the weak link. In a small company, it’s hard to just be mediocre and say you are just going to do just enough for a check. You’ll be exposed. Frankly, it irked me working with some folks who tried to skate. So, if you want to just be another employee # where you’ll never see or have opportunities for one on ones with intelligent execs in a company, this is not the place for you.
