Pros

Getting contracts signed can be nice.

Cons

I once cleaned a room in the heat in my work clothes for 4 hours only to be screamed at and told that it was not up to Scion's standards. The pressure is ridiculous. Projects and responsibilities are thrown at you without a second glance. I worked 6 days a week because corporate was always displeased with results. GM provided zero morale for staff. Frankly college housing is a ridiculous industry to begin with but Scion only seems to care about the bottom line and getting money. This was the worst job I have ever had.

Pros

Employee friendly, personable management, tons of opportunities for growth, financially stable private company, extremely knowledgeable management and employees, understanding of life happening.

Cons

Prefer in office rather than hybrid or remote, benefits tiered more to young single employees than for experienced or longer career employees.

Pros

Competitive bonus compensation Good benefits package Good comradery with fellow GM/PM's

Cons

Zero upwards accountability for management past the site level Horrific HR department that makes it impossible to hold reports accountable Favoritism is rampant and will destroy jobs Claims a culture of "Go-Getters" when in reality they say this to abuse your work-life balance to the highest degree COO is completely out of touch with his workforce and makes changes off of vibes
