      Pros

      They offer resources to gather more information on school-based OT but it's mostly offered during non-working hours. There is a good amount of autonomy with the position but that varies with location and school district.

      Cons

      The base pay for starting OT's is very low. There is little room for growth within the role and pay doesn't increase more than $1 a year. There's little support when dealing with the school districts and there is often a disconnect between contracted and district staff. Only given 40hrs total of sick time to be used as sick and PTO.

      Pros

      * Amazing and supportive recruiter * Incredible perks: stipends for professional development, wellness and licensing * W-2 * Highly supportive * Few documentation requirements * Efficient invoicing * Excellent effort to keep you in same district

      Cons

      * There's no central hub for all of Stepping Stones online resources. It's hard to keep track of where to find various resources, even when bookmarked.

      Pros

      You will work alongside many people who have a passion for special education services, whether you are a provider, admin or recruiter.

      Cons

      Frequent shifts in the management framework and structure over the last few years. Communication across teams is sometimes met with roadblocks.
