      Low pay! Crazy expectations - Career Services Manager The Stepping Stones Group Employee Review

      Pros

      Pros… there were pros before we purchased the local company in Orange County, after that everything went downhill for my team, our manager left to manage another team and she is the one that held the group together. Our new manager only cares about numbers.

      Cons

      The pay is extremely low. I have been with SSG for over two years now and they keep telling me that I will get a raise and that hasn’t happened. It almost feels like the reason they keep telling me it will happen is so that I don’t leave. Before we purchased a local company in Orange County things were so different, they were actually great but the new management has crazy expectations and if you don’t meet your metrics of the week you are immediately put in a meeting to be asked “what you did wrong”

      * Amazing and supportive recruiter * Incredible perks: stipends for professional development, wellness and licensing * W-2 * Highly supportive * Few documentation requirements * Efficient invoicing * Excellent effort to keep you in same district

      Cons

      * There's no central hub for all of Stepping Stones online resources. It's hard to keep track of where to find various resources, even when bookmarked.

      Pros

      You will work alongside many people who have a passion for special education services, whether you are a provider, admin or recruiter.

      Cons

      Frequent shifts in the management framework and structure over the last few years. Communication across teams is sometimes met with roadblocks.
