Pros

I needed a job that paid well, had flexible hours, and that was meaningful. And Stepping Stones helped me do all those things and more. They went through a 2-week training and CPI certification process that I was paid for. And anytime I had questions in the field I was only a text/call away from my case manager that was really helpful in plenty of situations. Gave me an iPad and opportunities at benefits like health insurance and scholarship opportunities through a program with Purdue online.

Cons

The job can be very demanding and if you are asked to sub for different schools/at-home positions it is sometimes hard to know exactly what you are stepping into even when a case manager gives you a summary of what to expect. The company is very large and the need for BTs is very apparent. Many of the schools I worked in had people who were extremely burnt out, from different companies, and it was sometimes hard to nagivate situations in that environment.
