The PTO offered is minimal, barely meeting the required standard. The health insurance is poor, and aside from a few wellness and continuing education stipends, there are virtually no other benefits. The recruiters are unreliable—they'll promise one thing, but you often find out later that the district requested something entirely different. While they may apologize, the contract is so vague that you’re still expected to do work you specifically asked to avoid.
The recruiters are also incredibly pushy, pressuring you to sign the contract by claiming they have other candidates ready to take the job. It’s clearly a sales tactic to secure their commission and ensure the company profits from your services.
Overall, the company feels untrustworthy and unsupportive once they’ve closed the deal. Most of the people I interacted with for help or support were either unresponsive or rude. I would recommend avoiding this company unless you’re truly desperate.
