Pros

There are some nice people and wonderful products... but...

Cons

Everyone is there for themselves. Managers steal orders. Everything is about Money. People who are good at lying and cheating are the ones who 'make money' - they are also the ones who lose money for the company by getting HUGE returns and complaints from customers. You get yelled at for 'wasting time' with customers if it doesn't look like it will lead to a sale. 90% of the tile is out of stock anyway! DC often sends broken tiles. You make barely minimum wage unless you've got a bunch of big spender clients... which is especially difficult if you don't live in a wealthy area or if it is not a 'busy season.' There is no time off. You live and breathe tile. You will never see your family again. You may as well set up a cot in the warehouse. I literally haven't seen the people I live with in a week. How is $2000 a month a decent wage? I understand there is room to grow, but on those months where you get small orders AND returns and don't make draw - you get shafted. Good luck paying for rent and a car and food while working here because well you won't be able to! Literally just live in the warehouse because that's all you will be able to afford. How is 60+ hours a week even legal if you are only being paid $2000/month and sometimes you get HUGE returns or cancelations because DC sends broken tile?!? That literally equates to $8.30/hour. 8 dollars an hour? What is this... the McDonalds of tile?

Pros

There's a system to follow and it's an open ceiling to how much you can make.

Cons

The only con I came across over the years, is candidates lying on their resume's and wasn't willing to be coachable because they thought they knew everything.

Pros

Some of the floor staff are great people to work with.

Cons

The core issue here is a management culture that has completely decayed. It is an "old school" environment in the worst way possible—rigid, out of touch, and fueled by greed. There are blatant double standards where leadership expects total flexibility and "hustle" from staff, but offers zero support or fair treatment in return. The focus is entirely on the bottom line at the expense of employee morale. It feels like the company is stuck in a bygone era, refusing to modernize its approach to work-life balance or fair compensation. Career growth feels stagnant unless you fit into their specific "inner circle."
