Pros

Leadership strives to add value to its employees' professional skillsets, instead of merely extracting it from them, by providing ample training, professional development, and growth opportunities. Leadership is transparent about its organizational decisions and values. The work is intrinsically rewarding and you can feel just by being present in the building how much the staff cares about making life better for the children we serve. In addition to being intrinsically rewarding, there is a digital reward program that fosters positivity and encouragement among coworkers.

Cons

Burnout can be high in this field. Turnover can also be high in this field, but at least the turnover we see here at The Unumb Center is for good reason (i.e. employees who are students may leave because they're moving on to the next step in their career)

Cons

Since Unumb Place does not have its own page yet, I’ll post this under the center’s. It’s fitting because it seems a lot of the issues at the center have bled through to Unumb Place and that makes even more sense given it’s the same “leadership” running both. All style no substance. It seems this company is hyper fixated on its image and does not give a fraction of that fixation to its actual operations. Unumb Place is an amazing looking and sounding concept that aspires to be “revolutionary” but that’s where the revolution ends, at “leadership” who talks a great game but has no idea how to genuinely pull anything off. Barely off the ground and the company already seems to be faltering in ways like all the companies around it that it so desperately doesn’t want to be like. Why delve into CTH housing on a whim and prayer? Again, they know how to make things look pretty but you can’t fake true, genuineness. Having turn over on all levels already is a telling sign that someone in a core position at this company is ultimately incompetent where it’s crucial.
