Cares about their Employees - Information Systems The Valley Health System (Nevada) Employee Review

Pros

1. Valley truly does care about their employees. I've never felt like I was just another statistic or body to them. Upper leadership takes time to listen and speak to their employees. 2. There is never nothing to do. One is always kept busy and learning new things 3. Our work does not go unappreciated.

Cons

It is a high pressure, high stress environment. If you are looking to work at a place that has "down time" or slow days, this isn't really the place as there is always a new project or issue to work on. If you are not able to properly separate work and life, this may not be the place for you. As there is always something to do, if you're the type that can't "clock out" and disconnect, you'll find yourself working on items late in to the evening. There is no overtime, so anything you do after hours unless explicitly asked to, is on your own time.
