The Walsh Group

Is this your company?

One of the worst companies I've worked for. - Anonymous employee The Walsh Group Employee Review

Pros

The single best thing about working for the Walsh Group/Archer Western is the health benefits. Cheap but actually very good. That's about, that's the only thing this company offers that is better than what you might find elsewhere.

Cons

Where to start? There is a total disconnect between office personnel and field personnel. Field personnel is seen almost as inferior to office guys and we are treated poorly compared to them. We get zero PTO, zero sick days, zero holiday pay. They don't give you holiday pay but will force you to be off work multiple days depending on what day the holiday falls. Good luck paying bills with 3 days on you check. If you have any sort of family I highly suggest looking for a different company to work for. Walsh Group offers zero work life balance for hourly individuals. Nearly every good review already on here is from a Salaried person, if you plan on working in the office as a salaried employee then this might be a good company. If you intend to be out in the field as an hourly employee, one of the ones who actually get their hands dirty building the project, then look elsewhere. I promise you will regret working for the Walsh Group as an hourly employee.
