Pros
Opportunities to move up given you kiss a$*. At this position you get a raise twice a year 0-5% of your salary. This is based solely on your project managers opinion of you. Large company so there are many opportunities of location.
Cons
No work life balance. You are expected to work a minimum of 50 hours a week on a mediocre salary. No overtime. Three weeks of PTO. Management is the worst I've ever dealt with. There is so much favoritism in this company and they don't care to hide it. If you aren't a favorite expect to get stuck with all the sh*t work. Managers will overload you so that their favorites don't have to do work they don't want to. These favorites go out for a 2.5 hour lunch with managers every day. This company lacks any sense of morals. There was an assistant project manager that broke company vehicle policy, I can't get into the details. They let this person keep their job until court hearing. And if everything plays out, they plan to promote this person to project manager. They have no respect for the people actually doing the work. Engineers are working horses just as much as the laborers. They do not promote the average person quickly. There are a lot of droogs and a1coho1 here as well as dipping pens in company ink. Many people get moved up for reasons unrelated to work performance or experience. BE CAREFUL IF YOU TAKE A JOB HERE. There looks so be no changes in the future. Managers think there is nothing wrong because they are the kings on the castle.
