The Washington Post

Engaged Employer

My time at the Post has been educational, but the organization is a tough one to work in. - Business Development Manager The Washington Post Employee Review

Pros

The Washington Post is a fantastic brand that people recognize globally. It's nice to be able to mention one's employer and instantly have people "get" where they work and what the mission of the place is.

Cons

The Washington Post is a storied old company in a very tough industry. They've not been as quick to innovate as many competitors, and consequently they've lost their edge.

Pros

Hard working colleagues, at times.

Cons

I found a lot of people I worked with were just racking up sinecures they felt they had earned. Lots of laziness.
