Leadership in HR as a whole and Total Rewards specifically build up insecurities and constantly seek to blame associates. Any good idea is met with, “Why is this just being done now?” Blame must be for any mistake, and the responsible party is laid into for poor professionalism and low intelligence. Separately, good service was not rewarded.
