Pros

The program participants and being able to work with team members who are passionate about positive change in the community. Having the ability to create, plan, and implement programming.

Cons

There is a lot of work that needs to be done in the organization. This association specifically has a high turnover rate due to the fact that they do not fully equip their staff with the training or support needed to fully do their jobs. There are a lot of staff members working in leadership or senior level director positions that should not be. Leadership is infected with a lot of hypocrisy and people that break the rules and policies of the organization -- that somehow manage to get away with it despite the human resources department being aware. History of taking advantage of lower level staff members, paying people incorrectly and not correcting it within a timely manner and favoritism.

Inconsistency, favoritism, constant change no one can keep up with, no empathy, no respect, no communication, toxic work environment, enabling the behavior of others while requiring regular trainings on work place harassment and actions that don’t match the company mission of healthy mind body and spirit.
