Pros

If you work in Estes Park, it is beautiful Guaranteed 40 weeks Ability to meet tons of people from around the world There is always something to do after work

Cons

The staff is not treated well at the Y. Half of the pay is taken for room and board, leaving most employees making around 4.50 an hour. And if the Y overbooks the dining rooms for the guests, the employees food suffers drastically as all the good food is given to the guests. The management doesn't really respect the employees for the most part.

Pros

Excellent opportunities to connect with folks from different backgrounds, communities, etc. Wonderful opportunities to learn, and continue to learn important skills such life saving skills. Opportunities to help people in the community. Lasting impact on people for a lifetime

Cons

Inconsistency, favoritism, constant change no one can keep up with, no empathy, no respect, no communication, toxic work environment, enabling the behavior of others while requiring regular trainings on work place harassment and actions that don’t match the company mission of healthy mind body and spirit.
