Pros
I've been fortunate/unfortunate to have experience in my career working for companies that have gone through significant amounts of change and financial troubles. Those experiences allowed me to truly understand what is important to me to get out of a relationship with an employer and a brand. What it boils down to for me is belief. Belief in what I'm doing, belief in what "we" are doing and belief in why we are doing it. After only a few short months working for Therabody I wanted to share that I've officially found a company that ticks all of the boxes. It's fast paced and exciting and there's a shared belief with everyone that I work with that we are out trying to help people with their personal wellness goals. We strive for excellence with our product and have succeeded beyond what I thought possible. Working for a brand that makes the absolute best product in your category makes everything easier and I'm genuinely looking forward to what is yet to come. This place is a rocket ship and I'm just glad that I'm getting a chance to be a part of it.
Cons
The company is still in a bit of "start up mode" which means that things happen quickly and there's not a lot of time to sit around and pontificate. It also means that the business is growing into it's size operationally, but it's happening at breakneck speeds. Not really a CON as much as an observation about what it takes to succeed here. Companies that have growing pains are GROWING....and if that is something that you want to be a part of and you're willing to work through those issues then you just might find out how rewarding being a part of Therabody can be.
