I could write a list here for days but it really all starts with the CEO and upper management. The CEO is an egotistical tyrant that looms over the entire company, every department. The culture is quite simply there worst I've ever encountered. Stress levels are at an all time high always and while the people are mostly cool each one of them will throw the person next to them under the bus if it means staying on the good side of the CEO. That's how scared everyone is of him. No one is truly valued, everyone is replaceable and the Founder is a joke. They focus and prioritize the wrong projects and programs and live within their own bubble unaware of the damage they do on a daily basis. All the best talent leaves within a year of joining after realizing how the company operates. Oh and did I mention the company is flat? Yeah everyone reports into the CEO who again is unqualified and believes he can do everyone's job better than they can and do. I'd put money on the fact that all the positive reviews are from HR or people close to the CEO who are looking to further ingrain themselves to him.
