Pros
When reading through all of the reviews, you begin to understand that the truth lands somewhere in between. I'm sure there are some difficult leaders in place (haven't directly worked with one), just like there are some TREMENDOUS new & tenured managers. Therabody seems to really be focused on building out a proper leadership team, to be able to properly manage and take ownership of their necessary projects. They've recently rolled out a 360 degree feedback platform, to allow the checks and balances between employees and their managers. Therabody also does an incredible job promoting and supporting Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. From a Pride panel to an AAPI speaker, even distributing information around Juneteenth, they continue to acknowledge and drive conversation around change. You can tell it's important to the organization and not just a gimmick for PR sake.
Cons
The company moves incredibly quick, in terms of project timelines and daily functionality. Because of this, the pace of the environment isn't conducive for everyone. If you're used to waiting on tons of approvals to get through a single project, or the work that you do is siloed to the bigger picture, this might not be the right fit.
