Pros
There are some great people to work with, and they do give some flexible time-off benefits. Supervisors (in most of the groups) are very understanding and will work with you and as hard as you do.
Cons
Management is severely misplaced, most not having experience in this field but hired due to having a high level degree. A lot of miscommunications occur with having too many cooks. It doesn't help that with higher -up people not understanding the work and processes that occur in a Biotech company, which leads to a lot of unnecessary processes, instruments, and programs being used. I know it is still in start-up but I can see there being problems for a while until they get their bearings straight. Also, they have one recruiter that is notorious (everyone in the branch know and hate him, even supervisors and managers. A lot of them will go behind his back to the recruiting manager to work their own offers for people they want, as they have learned why it is hard to fill open spots) for horrible offers, while lying about compensation during the interview process, and when the offer comes it is way less than hat was agreed upon or the range implied. At the moment there is a departure of about an employee every other week from my branch and never from manufacturing. I have learned that they are, probably, the only group that is fair with compensation and responsibilities.
