Pros

As many hours as you want. Insurance after 3 months

Cons

Managers treat you terribly. Managers take you tips. No breaks. If you know how do you job they feel threatened and keep you busy with grunt work. Banquets and The nine restaurant are the worst places to work. No break while working at the pool either. You are made to work in the heat and not allowed to break. 0 support or help from management. People are hired and don’t last more than 2 months. They praise laziness.

Cons

Employees pay for their own parking downtown. The company offers a partial reimbursement but it does not fully offset the expense.

Pros

Hyatt has amazing benefits, far above what other hotels and brands offer.

Cons

There were numerous HR complaints made against leadership, yet meaningful action was not taken until months after my departure. The culture placed excessive demands on staff, leading to severe burnout and low morale, with little regard for the impact on employees. The property also has a reputation locally for high turnover and a decline in customer service once contracts are signed. I would strongly encourage candidates to carefully consider other hotel brands before accepting a role here.
