Pros

They had a nice space, I am not sure there was much concern over customer satisfation, they overbooked and frequently customers would become irate. Then they would come drink at the bar.

Cons

Management was a mess, they had no idea what they were doing. They had little concern over employee welfare or concern with employee satisfaction. There was no team building and overtly sexist.

Cons

Employees pay for their own parking downtown. The company offers a partial reimbursement but it does not fully offset the expense.

Pros

Hyatt has amazing benefits, far above what other hotels and brands offer.

Cons

There were numerous HR complaints made against leadership, yet meaningful action was not taken until months after my departure. The culture placed excessive demands on staff, leading to severe burnout and low morale, with little regard for the impact on employees. The property also has a reputation locally for high turnover and a decline in customer service once contracts are signed. I would strongly encourage candidates to carefully consider other hotel brands before accepting a role here.
