Pros

-Fair pay provided you move around in the company to stay in touch with the market rates. -Many opportunities for career change and advancement if you are mobile. -Strong review process and management training.

Cons

-This company lay's off employees all the time and because they spread it out over the year no one realizes how many employees are actually let go. -The dirty little secret about this company is that they constantly reorganize the business and never give the last reorganization a chance to work. Some of the changes they make are similar to past reorganizations. -Their idea of a raise is 0-1% for the last several years, no matter how hard you worked. The whole time they report record profits. -It is all about the current year win and no one cares about the future unless you are not in management.

Pros

Good pay, good managers, and minimal micromanagement

Cons

Not great 401k or health insurance options for contractors, but that's par for the course

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
