Pros

Large enough to allow for career movement. Generous time off. Excellent life insurance if you allow it to build up over time. Good environment for diverse candidates - they want you badly!

Cons

Red tap galore! Slow decision-making. Siloed. No opportunity for VP level growth. Glass ceiling for women. Policies getting less and less employee friendly. Salaries not market-competitive. Constant restructuring. No respect or value for subject matter expertise. Terrible managers continue to manage people and get promoted. Poor co-insurance type health insurance. Greed is rewarded. Lack of accountability. Endless and meaningless HR comms. Leadership cares far more about the shareholders than the employees.

Pros

Great environment and people. Lots of overtime available and bonuses during busy season.

Cons

I really enjoyed this job so the only con I can think of is that it is seasonal.

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
