Pros

Big company benefits, some smart people you can learn great things from, professional facilities.

Cons

Aggressive, bully culture. Example: my second week, I was leading a conference call for a project that I had just been assigned. Since there is no onboarding or training, I was understandably still getting my bearings and did not even have access to tools that I would need to do my job. On the call were sales managers who actually started shouting at me because they were upset that this initiative was not further along than it was. After that call i was so upset by the behavior that I was shaking. I hoped this was an anomaly, based on some sort of misunderstanding, however different versions of this scenario have played out over and over during my time here (almost 1.5 years)

Thank you for your review, suggestion and valued contribution. Employee onboarding resources can be accessed via The Hub as well as Learning Maps for Employees on thePoint as you further develop your career path. Feel free to reach out to your manager and/or human resource representative to discuss further as the onboarding program which was rolled out in February is tailored for each individual and gives all new employees (since February 9) access to their individual onboarding tool – even prior to day 1. It is unfortunate that you have experienced a challenging interaction/exchange which is not condoned. As a part of holding ourselves and colleagues to a higher standard of thinking and conduct, we encourage all employees to attend the ongoing Values and Culture Web Workshops as they become available on the “Our Culture” calendar on The Hub. This interactive workshop is designed to make an impact on both the professional and personal life. Feel free to include your manager and/or human resource representative on potentially challenging interactions as well. We encourage constructive and engaged conversations internally and at the same time strive to remove obstacles along with being supportive of everyone's success.

Pros

Great environment and people. Lots of overtime available and bonuses during busy season.

Cons

I really enjoyed this job so the only con I can think of is that it is seasonal.

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
