Pros

Hot, fresh lunch is provided Monday through Thursday. Good benefits. The new human resources manager is very caring and helpful. Decent pay.

Cons

The management is horrible. I never once even saw the manager or director of my department. My only interaction was with a young, inexperienced, defensive and selfish supervisor who cares nothing about his employees, department or teamwork. His only concern is his own appearance and advancement. The top of the ladder is also very arrogant and intolerant. It's like they have a chip on their shoulders. Do not believe anything the recruitment manager promises you. He is just a salesman.

A paycheck and nothing else. If you need a temporary job till you find a proper one, use Thorne as a buffer, all they do is use people - so use them too.

Cons

Constantly overhearing Engineers & Managers talking about shopfloor employees as lesser than & disposable, believe me they think of people working on the machinery as filth & complain & laugh about them all the time. Always changing hours & schedules around to force people to quit & replace them & laughing about it. No paid lunch, terrible benefits package that is padded by an option to get some of their products every month without charge to make you feel better about having no real benefits. Making fun of more recently joined employees & not supporting them if they don't join their cliques & kiss butt. Egotistical leadership & lackeys sucking up to them for positions they do not belong in type of non-culture.
