Pros

The leadership is great here and goes out of their way to make sure their employees are taken care of. The culture is one which fosters teamwork and cooperation, and each member is given opportunities to contribute and grow in their respective fields. In my department, there is also a lot of autonomy and I believe that motivates us to work harder and achieve more than if we were being micro-managed. Good benefits, free supplements every month, HUGE brand new and very clean facility, and great pay. It's a medium sized company, employee-wise, so there is lots of room for continued growth and career opportunities, without the constant bureaucracy of some much larger companies. As my title states, so far this is the best company I've ever worked for.

Cons

Going through a few growing pains after relocating to the new Charleston facility, but nothing that I feel is a direct detriment to working here.

Pros

A paycheck and nothing else. If you need a temporary job till you find a proper one, use Thorne as a buffer, all they do is use people - so use them too.

Cons

Constantly overhearing Engineers & Managers talking about shopfloor employees as lesser than & disposable, believe me they think of people working on the machinery as filth & complain & laugh about them all the time. Always changing hours & schedules around to force people to quit & replace them & laughing about it. No paid lunch, terrible benefits package that is padded by an option to get some of their products every month without charge to make you feel better about having no real benefits. Making fun of more recently joined employees & not supporting them if they don't join their cliques & kiss butt. Egotistical leadership & lackeys sucking up to them for positions they do not belong in type of non-culture.
