Pros

It was good while it lasted.

Cons

I worked as the System Administrator for about two years in the Summerville office. I was given a raise and told that things were great and there were no issues with me. Four months later, I was fired for "performance" issues. I did not have a single verbal or written warning, nor was I given any negative feedback or pushback during that time. I was never told that my priorities were wrong, or given warnings or ultimatums of any kind whatsoever. I was working, and as far as I knew, I was doing a good job and was on target with all my projects, and had them prioritized accordingly. To say that I was blindsided is a BIG understatement. Upon being terminated, I asked why, but was told the decision had been made and they weren't going to get into it now.

Pros

A paycheck and nothing else. If you need a temporary job till you find a proper one, use Thorne as a buffer, all they do is use people - so use them too.

Cons

Constantly overhearing Engineers & Managers talking about shopfloor employees as lesser than & disposable, believe me they think of people working on the machinery as filth & complain & laugh about them all the time. Always changing hours & schedules around to force people to quit & replace them & laughing about it. No paid lunch, terrible benefits package that is padded by an option to get some of their products every month without charge to make you feel better about having no real benefits. Making fun of more recently joined employees & not supporting them if they don't join their cliques & kiss butt. Egotistical leadership & lackeys sucking up to them for positions they do not belong in type of non-culture.
