You indicate you're a current employee and I encourage you to bring your concerns to your team lead or anyone in our management group including me so that we can have a proper discussion of them. For the interest of all the others reading this, here are some brief thoughts: 1. We are a nimble startup and in fact pride our selves on constant change from occasional grand pivots to continual small improvements. This can be challenging for some. 2. We’ve just re-implemented our product architecture, we keep hardware up to date for everyone and otherwise we use all the usual tools relevant for a geographically distributed startup. So I’m not sure what this refers to. 3. Overall we lean to hiring based on cpu (potential and capability) rather than database (specific current skills) factoring in team fit. For those who lean to hiring based on database I suppose this seems like we hire based on personality rather than hard technical skills when in fact we are hiring for potential rather than short term payback. We manage our company for long term shareholder value and there are many who don’t take this approach. - Jim Firstbrook, Co-founder and President
