It’s ironic how their product gives people a voice but yet they don’t like to listen to their own employees. There is a level of micro management here that I’ve never experienced before. They don’t enable or trust the people they hire to do what they’re experienced at and hired to do. Management and employee growth can definitely be improved. My manager never asked what my goals were, how I wanted to grow in the company or anything like that. Even for yearly reviews they felt the need to bring in someone with more experience to talk about feedback because they didn’t know how. I was hired for a role that never existed there before, they admittedly didn’t really know what that role entailed and that became obvious really quick. I had to educate people on what this role was and how to incorporate it in their process. A large part of my role and job description is to question and challenge things, good luck with that as it’s something they don’t handle well. You will do well if you’re a ‘yes-man/woman’. They put people in management roles that are agreeable and don’t push back or challenge in any way. Lastly, the product lacks vision and strategy. They make decisions on a whim without very much data or feedback from users.
