Pros

you get to choose your own laptop & its configuration. They give great laptops too. good HR policies. unlimited sick leave. Company stands on 3 pillars. 1. Sustainable Business 2. Software Excellence 3. Social Impact. Great values at the core to work for.

Cons

Not very flexible towards working mothers. More telecommuting options would be useful. With recent growth within ThoughtWorks India, it is moving towards being like every other large organisation where networking is taking priority over quality work in getting to the top. No proper designations. No proper career growth path Find your own job title and growth ; but then you will find many shut doors and politics in play.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.

Pros

Great culture, very laid back and as long as you show up and get your work done you are meeting expectations

Cons

Very difficult to get any salary increases or promotions. Lived in fear of layoffs bc there were often not a lot of projects so I was often on the bench for months at a time
