Pros

Good work culture People take pride in their values and culture. I could notice very little hypocrisy here. People are friendly. Good work life balance (sometimes depends on the client too) Places a premium on quality Relatively flatter hierarchy. In practice too People listen to you no matter how junior you are in the industry Easier and faster project switch

Cons

As many reviewers say not good for laterals. Probably true. People don't really get the hang of pair programming. People who know the right person get to travel abroad to better offices like US UK, etc more frequently. I've seen this myself. The only qualification for the person was that he was expert at talking. And very skilled at that. No doubt with little experience in the industry he had contacts with big people. He go the benefits too Politics not as bitchy as some reviews suggest , certainly much better than Deloitte (Where its hypocrisy, sycophancy, and other ills all combined, ) and other consulting firms. But people do try things and succeed too. Last word - thought works not as bad as the reviews suggest but some serious issues need to Be tackled

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.

Pros

Great culture, very laid back and as long as you show up and get your work done you are meeting expectations

Cons

Very difficult to get any salary increases or promotions. Lived in fear of layoffs bc there were often not a lot of projects so I was often on the bench for months at a time
