Pros

- Best and most genuine colleagues I've ever had - Focus shift to interesting modern topics (e.g. Gen AI) - Outstanding L&D Team - Have been given amazing opportunities to work on many fulfilling projects - The best software development practices I've ever seen - Very strong technical solutioning, in fact that's the best thing we have! We are really good at what we do.

Cons

- Personally, I along with many of my peers, are starting to feel less and less like this is really Thoughtworks. The business decisions being made are hard-hitting albeit necessary for business. - In the above said path for improving the business, we are losing the humanity that is precious to every Thoughtworker - Many long-lived and tenured leaders are choosing to leave, and some are leaving not really by choice - Most recently the layoffs have been extremely rough, especially since I strongly disagree with the selections that were made. Many of them were high-potential junior consultants focused on all the things TW wanted them to upskill on. Some could've even taken on more Senior roles. DISCLAIMER: The reason I still consider this home is because I do believe I, among others, are fully accepted here by those we interact with regularly. TW has done a lot of good while I've been here and way before me too. I'm hoping we come out of this [dramatically] dark age stronger and can begin returning to our core values. Also, no this review is not AI-generated it is genuinely from the heart. I'll be heartbroken if we do not turn ourselves around and soar again.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.
