Pros

A place where you can be yourself, doesn't matter your gender, race, sexual orientation, physical capabilities, origin, and treated with respect and with all opportunities to grow, and make your own career choosing what kind of things you wanna focus to learn and practice.

Cons

You have to take ownership of your journey, starting to think what you wanna learn, what do you wanna develop, you have to be eager to keep growing and not just settle. It's not a job for those how want to learn one language, and stop there, and just wait to things happen, you have to make things happen by stating what you want and challanging yourself.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.

Pros

Great culture, very laid back and as long as you show up and get your work done you are meeting expectations

Cons

Very difficult to get any salary increases or promotions. Lived in fear of layoffs bc there were often not a lot of projects so I was often on the bench for months at a time
