Went from a family run business with a certain "culture" that was like working for a small business where everyone knew everyone's name and you were proud to work there. Now it has become manager heavy, with sales reps selling whatever job they can talk the customer into, even if the job is sold incorrectly. This put a lot of stress on crews. Aside from sales being along way from "challenging the status quo", the managers would tell us never to remove a product that's scheduled to be installed, even if the customer didn't need it, just so the company would make more money. The pay was not even close to what the amount of work they expected you to do in the amount of time you were given, and any "bonus" you may receive was. Normally in your 2 week check, which they removed and if* you keep your customer satisfaction rating above a certain % throughout the year, you may receive the bonus. When I left they were cutting costs on everything and trying to pocket as much money as they could to pay for future endeavors that they are over their head in.
