Tides provides the infrastructure and capital that leverages the efforts of individuals and organizations seeking to create positive change in the world. The perspective into the nonprofit and philanthropic sector through the Tides network is humbling.

Cons

Can be a very fast-paced environment and requires a breath of knowledge about nonprofit & funder operations, best practices, and risk/compliance issues.

The people you work with are kind and really care about the work and each other.

Cons

Management is duplicitous and do not live up to the company values. It shocks me at how little empathy, transparency and accountability the senior and executives leadership team has. This is in addition to the many lay offs and devaluing union employees.
