Pros

The new CEO will transform the landscape of Tides for the better. Coworkers are about as kind and welcoming as they come. Incredible location in the Presidio with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Cons

Being in the Presidio is both a pro and a con. While relaxing, it does feel very separate from the rest of the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. Logistically, it is hard to get down time quickly for meetings but also being far away probably results in several missed opportunities for meeting others and networking.

The people you work with are kind and really care about the work and each other.

Cons

Management is duplicitous and do not live up to the company values. It shocks me at how little empathy, transparency and accountability the senior and executives leadership team has. This is in addition to the many lay offs and devaluing union employees.
