Pros
There are a handful of people in the company who really care. Longstanding company with potential to grow outside of the US.
Cons
The CEO has been there too long and is not a visionary. Complacency and status quo trickles down from the top. Not enough support for front line managers and staff to make the changes the company is asking for. The middle managers - VPs and directors (the old timers) - are complacent and selfish. They don't develop new managers and staff who are high potential. They are afraid that strong employees will take their jobs and the middle managers take all the credit and compensation for themselves. The company turns a deaf ear to this and protects their own people who have been there for 10, 15, 20+ years.
