Poor work ethics were evident as the company engaged in a large scale hiring initiative, bringing on both lateral hires and fresh graduates for the position of data science analyst, only to terminate them en masse after just three months. Employees were subjected to undue pressure to resign and placed on PIP with promises of job security, leaving them in a state of confusion. It was perplexing as to why the company chose to screen employees after successfully clearing all interview rounds. Lateral hires, who had left stable positions, were particularly affected. While terminations can be understood, keeping employees in a state of uncertainty and confusion was highly disappointing and unexpected.
