Pros
Middle managers and workers are good. Pay and benefits good (only if you know that you must threaten to leave to get a raise). Good social atmosphere.
Cons
-the executive leadership doesn't communicate anything to the underlings, must rely on rumors and read the signs. Executives make promises then they don't fulfill them. -there is a steady stream of talent leaving the company. New positions are only to fill empty spots from the casualties. -promotions are only for those people in good standing with the executives. Must kiss butt for years to get promoted, or if you are valuable you can threaten to leave to get promoted. -MICROMANAGEMENT trickles down. Should executives be directly calling low level managers to find out the status of projects?
