Pros
pay is in line with market, there are some talented employees
Cons
Bar none the worst executive management team. The CEO does not lead by setting out a strategic vision then empowering - she micro manages. Other executives in key positions are unbearable to deal with or just have no leadership skills. Execution problems permeate throughout the organization. Middle managers that have been there a significant amount of time have learned terrible habits and anyone else good moves on. EMN8 has had some major talent loses recently due to these issues - folks that could have moved the needle, and more are to come. There is no real strategy so a path to profitability is completely unclear and to attempt to empower yourself to fix this is futile. Low morale, teams vary from being skeptical and detached to being in tears on a regular basis. To make matters worse they have started hiring key positions in LA (where you can except to be screamed at daily) instead of San Diego so going in the opposite direction of breaking down silos - they are building them.
