Pros
Most stores have a very young environment which made things fun. 40% off 2 times a year (Maybe 3, I don't recall) to stay in trend for the next season. Good job to gain experience. Seasonal meetings helped with boosting personal selling skills. I think the best part was that at my store, customer service was EXTREMELY important so I learned a lot from that like learning to speak to customers, product knowledge, spotting fake checks, etc.
Cons
Takes forever to get a promotion, I worked for the company for almost 1 and a half years and never got a promotion but I think the managers knew I was ready for it. Customers can get under your skin sometimes too but it's retail.
