Pros
Good starter job, friendly and often reasonable store management, easy job for the most part. Fast paced environment that teaches you how to work with multiple people at one time, strong values around customer service. Employee discount that extends to immediate family.
Cons
There is little room to move up with this company, so there isn't a lot of room for growth. Stores are jam packed with merchandise that could have great potential for visuals, but the floor sets are poor and messy. Scheduling was always hectic; constant changes made at the last minute. Micromanaging is a problem, everyone constantly has different ways of doing things and are rarely open to different possibility. Corporate/higher management also seems messy and unorganized, only cares about certain aspects in the store and doesn't really do much to fix anything. The stores seem to barely hold on by themselves, then upper manager comes by and the stores act like they have their act together for their visits.
