Pros
It was fine, the scheduling was a little unorganized, but the atmosphere wasn't horrible. The people were fine, the manager was very kind, (Kat) and I felt guided by her. For a retail job for a young person, I would say it is one of the better stores.
Cons
They would schedule us at just under the amount of time we would do to get a required break, so I didn't love that. Lots of people wouldn't lock up their phones and wouldn't get caught or reprimanded, so it sucked when I would actually follow the rules when I could have easily not. Also, you have to put your belongings in a locker and lock it every shift. No chairs in the back of the store, so it's hard to relax for your 15 minutes (when you get it) or eat back there. They also had this rule where you could be told while on the floor that your shift was getting extended 2 hours with no prior notice. They made calling out sound like it was the end of the world, but I would be at the phone and hear people do it all the time.
