Cons
Where. Do. I. Start. - INCREDIBLY poor pay. They would pay below minimum wage if they could. I’m not exaggerating. - Promotions/raises are hard to come by. - No end-of-year bonuses. - Windowless office with a break room that can fit max 4-6 people. No elevators in the building. No natural lighting. Rats, bugs, and debris in specific parts of the warehouse that are blatant health hazards. - Horrible parking situation, with obvious favoritism for certain departments… - Dishonesty on job listings: this is NOT truly hybrid, it’s 4 long days in the office with Fridays WFH. Do not believe the listings! Employee “perks” such as food trucks, events, etc. are uncommon and there are absolutely 0 amenities to being in-office! - Terrible favoritism reflected in not only attitude towards employees but in pay as well - Poor management that goes so deep that it won’t matter who your immediate manager/boss is. The rot goes all the way through - Insane turnover. Someone leaves every week and not always amicably. - Overworked, underpaid, unpleasant work environment worsened by high tensions and stressed employees - As another reviewer said, you’re expected to execute job duties without having the authority to push them through the pipeline. Everything you do requires 4 rounds of approval - No onboarding. Multiple years in and I’m still learning the “right” way to do things according to company policy, because there’s absolutely no training. NONE - You will suffer here. They put on a facade of company culture and everyone puts on a face when you first start to make you feel comfortable before they eventually remember how miserable they are and the mask comes off. You will, without a doubt, hate your job here. That’s a promise. In final words, RUN. Abandon all hope ye who enter here. Your mental health will never be worse. P.S. If you’re wondering why I’m still at the company, I’d tell you it’s due to the poor job market. But if you really wanted to know, it’s because this job will destroy your sense of self, any and all motivation you had when you started, and leave no time to recover at home because all you want to do is sleep once the day is done. They make you feel inadequate and unworthy of better pay/conditions. This company will change you for the worse.
