Pros

Many projects around the country offers a lot of "opportunity" for growth, and a sense of job security. Tower crews are the best of the company. They care for each other and for getting the work done right.

Cons

You won't be anything more than a number if you joined the company in the last 3 years or if you aren't keeping up with the "right" people. Most of the new hires are friends of friends in the company at this point or related to someone. You don't have to know much or be any good at your job to get ahead here. Just have to be friends with or related to the right people. The management team that sits in Portland are out of touch with the struggles their employees are dealing with. Safety is not a huge concern when it costs you money! No one take accountability for their actions. All issues will forever be blamed on someone not in the meeting, not in the office, or no longer with the company. If you do admit to a mistake or not knowing something you might get fired. If you ask about your role you might get fired. If you ask for a lateral move or a promotion you might get fired. There is no care for the business or for doing good quality work. Managers only kicking the can down the road another day. Blame game every day. The culture has taken a sharp nosedive with the recent "growth" and the quality of work is starting to show it. Lot of drama and nitpicking and undermining teams or peers every single day, on every project. Everyone has something bad to say about the work, the contract, the customers, the Subs, and each other. All of the best team members left the company or were fired in the past year.
