Pros

Time savers is a pretty big company in the eastern Massachusetts area so there's plenty of opportunity to have work. The pay is pretty good for a General Construction Laborer. The higher ups in the company are pretty easygoing and are good at answering phone calls or texts. If you do what the supervisor on site tells you what to do, you don't have an attitude, and you show up on time its a pretty easy job. It's a great way to learn new skills and possibly find out which trade you'd like to get into. I've worked with iron workers, carpenters, electricians, stones masons and so on. Since I've been working for time savers I've always gotten 40 hours a week, with the occasional overtime.

Cons

Times Savers can have a lack of communication with the contractors at times. I'll show up to a job site without knowing exactly where I'm suppose to go or who I'm suppose to see. Sometimes the managers on site expect me to know how to do something when I don't and they get upset because of it. Or I'll have a task to do but the proper tools or equipment weren't provided by Time Savers or the contractor. I've been to sites to clean or demo and had to ask a tradesman if I can borrow his broom or tools, which is NEVER an issue.
