Pros
Tintri hands down has a unique and differentiated technology that when placed in the hands of customers, becomes very sticky. The product at its original core is very stable and reliable. Engineering and Execs are easy to reach and willing to help. Small set of product offerings and configurations make the quoting process much simpler for customers. Great work/life balance as sales teams work remotely and make their own schedules.
Cons
Very saturated and difficult market conditions in the storage space make selling an uphill battle. Marketing has had little to no impact on "Brand Awareness." Sales are derived from the sole efforts of each Account Team. Not enough focus on what the "customers" are asking for. Current product management team is some of the worst Ive ever worked with through my tenure. Lots of wonderful and highly talented people have come and gone well before they are ever fully vested.
