Pros
Fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple projects and tools. Strong adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI tools). Can be a good short-term experience for early career professionals comfortable with ambiguity and mess.
Cons
In my experience, there was a high level of organizational instability, including frequent restructures and leadership changes. I also observed multiple rounds of layoffs within a relatively short period. Roles and responsibilities can shift significantly, sometimes without clear alignment or communication. Workload and priorities may fluctuate unpredictably, with limited consistency in decision-making and expectations across teams. Professionalism, empathy, and respect were not always consistently demonstrated in day-to-day interactions. The contractor model (hiring via third parties) in Colombia can result in a weaker overall employee experience, including administrative inefficiencies and limited benefits. Compensation did not feel competitive relative to market expectations, and the lack of transparent salary structures may lead to noticeable differences in pay among similar roles without clearly communicated criteria. Overall, based on my experience, this may not be the best environment for those seeking stability, structure, and long-term development.
