Pros

The pros have nothing to do with the company itself. The actual work we do for BLS and most of my coworkers are great. We get federal holidays off.

Cons

Where to begin? We had all hoped things would get better once the new contractor came along, but we were wrong. Titan fought for over a year to win the DOL contract but couldn't be bothered to research what we actually do. They had very little set up for the actual transition and there was absolutely no transparency. They are constantly changing and adding emails and log-in and training sites for the company, which is beyond frustrating. They came in and cut our pay and are only paying us the bare minimum. We no longer have bonuses or incentives. On top of that, we now have to pay out of pocket for our benefits, so there's another 2k+/yr gone. The company does not offer maternity leave. They changed the way we accumulate PTO, which is now given on your anniversary date. The transition took place in September, so anyone with a summer anniversary (ex. August) are basically forced to use LWOP if they need to take a day off. HR is very inconsistent with their information and always seem to have an attitude whenever anyone asks a question. There is no room to grow here and you can forget about a raise. I won't be surprised if there's a mass exodus once this pandemic is over. And I'm sure the Branch Chief won't be too happy when some of his best analysts leave.

Pros

Commutative and understanding leadership. Clear objectives for employees. Good training and lots of opportunities to learn, practice, and ask questions. Good benefits and PTO for regular non contract employees.

Cons

Low pay. Almost $10 less an hr on average for similar positions. Misleading recruiters make the job seem less intensive than it is. High call volume low ACW between calls. Long path to non contract employment and probably even longer till market average pay. BLACKOUT DATES - almost 6 months of the year limited or no time off allowed or approved. Not for me, I knew I was going to quit day two of training but I still gave it a 3 month try. Just way too many better options out there available.
