Pros
Pay, allowed to independently pursue sales. Customers are overall great and the revenue generating tasks are overall very straightforward.
Cons
Managing contacts takes up a great deal of your time because there's no system in place like outreach. You have to use excel sheets for everything and make it up as you go along. Must socialize and make friends internally to show that you 'care'. You get a mentor and your manager says they are there but they feel aggravated when you ask them questions. Training is terrible and doesn't prepare you for the role at all.
